Benish Baqai

Benish is a medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin interested in multiple disciplines of medicine including research, public health, and serving underserved populations. Her research background is in basic science and translational research, and she seeks to build upon that foundation by engaging in more population health, social scientific, and ethics scholarship. This has led her to pursue a research project with Dr. Padela’s team so that she can better understand the how religious identity contributes to diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare.
